Most QR code makers charge for editable codes, the ones you can point somewhere new after printing. Prices and code limits are easy to compare. What happens to your printed codes when a trial ends or you stop paying is harder to find, so we put it in the same table.
We make ovbq, so read this knowing that. We quote each maker's own words, link every fact to its source, and say where they beat us. Competitor facts were checked October 21, 2026, except rows marked with a later date. Prices are in US dollars, as each maker's page showed them in the US, and may change. Free does not include hosted video or audio pages. An ordinary Website link code can still point directly to an outside recording under its usual rules. Uploaded recordings, captions, transcripts and poster images use your existing account storage.

Where others beat us
- More codes for the money in the middle. If you need between 51 and 200 editable codes, QR TIGER's Advanced plan ($192 a year for 200) costs less than our Business plan ($290 a year for 500).
- More than 500 codes. Our biggest plan has 500. QR TIGER's Premium has 600, Uniqode's Business+ has 2,000, QR Code Generator offers an Enterprise plan through its sales team, and Uniqode one with custom pricing.
- A cheaper start. QR TIGER's Regular plan is US$7 a month, month to month, for 12 editable codes. Our Pro is $9 for 50. QR TIGER's free plan also has 3 editable codes to our 2.
- Teams and bulk work. QR Code Generator's Advanced and Professional plans include 2 and 5 users, bulk creation from a CSV file and an API. Uniqode includes bulk creation from its $9 plan, an API from Core and 3 users on Plus, and QR TIGER's Advanced includes bulk generation. ovbq offers separate sign-ins for selected codes, with viewer and editor permissions. Bulk CSV creation is available on the plans that include it. The code API supports its documented owner operations.
- PDF and image uploads. QR TIGER's file codes also take MP4, Excel and Word, and its Premium plan allows 20 MB a file. QR Code Generator takes a PDF under 20 MB. For PDF/image codes, ovbq hosts a PDF, JPEG or PNG up to 10 MB (checked October 23, 2026).
What we do differently
- A soft landing if you stop paying. Nothing changes for 30 days, your 2 oldest website-link codes stay on Free, live or paused as you left them, and the rest show a short notice; any continue action follows the code's access restrictions. Nothing is deleted. The exceptions, such as abuse, fraud or a chargeback, are in Terms section 13.
- A reprint guarantee of up to $250 per account, if a code stops working as we promise. Conditions.
- No ads on a paused code. The notice has no third-party advertising and no countdown. Any continue action follows the code's access restrictions.
- Month to month on every paid plan, or yearly with 2 months free.
