Export your links

Download one file that lists every editable code in your account and where it points. It is free on every plan while your account is open.

The file is a CSV, which opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets and most other spreadsheet apps. It has one row per code, with these columns:

  • the short link, like ovbq.com/BCD234
  • the short code on its own
  • the name you gave the code
  • the page it opens, or for a phone call, text message or email code the tel:, sms: or mailto: address it starts (empty for a page or file we host)
  • its status: live, paused (you paused it), paused: plan ended (see what happens if you stop paying) or disabled (switched off by us, for example after an abuse report)
  • the date and time you made it, in UTC
  • what it opens: link, call, sms, email, text, wifi, card, app, menu, file, bio or coupon (a Wi-Fi password is never in the file)

If we closed your account because of a payment dispute, email hello@ovbq.com from your account address and ask for your code-list CSV. We check that the request comes from the account holder and send you the file as long as the account has not been deleted. The CSV does not include pages or files we host.

Scan history

On the Pro and Business plans, each code's page also has a "Download scans (CSV)" button for its scan history: the scans recorded in the last 24 months, each with its time (in UTC), device, system, browser and referring site. It never includes IP addresses.

On Pro and Business, a second file lists scans by country.

Scans older than 24 months are deleted, so they cannot be exported. On the Free plan, scans over its monthly recording limit are not recorded at all, so they cannot be exported later, even after you upgrade.
