How to make a link in bio QR code

Give people one page for your booking link, website and social links. A link in bio QR code opens that page when someone scans it. Change the links later without printing the code again.

Make your page

  1. Choose Link-in-bio page for an editable code. This hosted page is included on Pro and Business and uses your plan's shared code allowance. You do not need a website of your own.
  2. Add your name and a short introduction. Tell people whose page they opened and what they can do next.
  3. Add the links people need. Give each button a clear label, such as "Book an appointment" or "See our prices." Put the most useful one first, choose its icon, and add your social links.
  4. Choose a layout and test the code. Open every link, then scan a printed copy at the size you will use. Put a short instruction beside it, such as "Scan for booking and prices."

Keep the same printed code

Edit the page when a booking address, price list or social link changes. Changing these page links does not change the printed QR code. Saved pauses and access restrictions still apply. A fixed code holds its content in the printed pattern; an editable code lets you change what people reach. You can also change a QR code's link.

Check the page before printing

Scan a sample at the size you plan to print. Check the title and introduction, then open each button and social link. Each label should make sense before someone taps it, and the page it opens should match that label. Ask another person to try the sample too.

After changing a link, save the page and scan the same printed sample again. Check that the button opens the new address. A broad caption such as "Booking and contact" stays useful when individual links change.

A page of links or a contact card?

A link in bio page helps people choose where to go. A contact card helps them save your contact details. Choose the one that fits what you want someone to do after scanning.

What scan counts tell you

An editable code can count scans. A scan is not proof that someone opened a button, booked an appointment or made a purchase. Read what scan tracking shows before using the numbers to judge a campaign.
